The Kukke Subramanya temple is located in the western ghats of Karnataka in Subrahmanya Town India. It is a very famous revered Hindu temple that is dedicated to the Lord Subramanyam Swamy the son of Lord Shiva the Lord Subramanyam Swamy is also known as Kartikeya. The Kukke Subramanya temple has a very special significance in that it is very famous for those who are suffering from the Sarpa Dosha in this temple they get relief by the doing of Sarpa Dosa Puja. The devotees take a holy dip in the Kumaradhara River.
The main reason this temple is very famous for Sarpa Dosha that is Lord Subramanya Swamy defeated the demon Tarakasura and his brothers at Subramanya Town. From that time the serpents protected the divine in the temple like Vasuki. In this temple, the Subramanya Swamy Idol is reciting with the Serpent Vasuki. The idol is covered with a powerful aura that’s why this is a very famous pilgrimage site and every year thousands of devotees visit this temple.The temples conduct daily Aarti and Pooja’s and the very famous Sevas in Poojas are Sarpa Samskara , Ashlesha Bali , and Naga Pratishta .
