It should be noted that you can only apply for one type of agricultural machinery once every three years.The government will provide subsidies for this. Let us tell you that Dr. GR Matoriya, Joint Director of Agriculture Department, Sriganganagar said that as per the guidelines issued, whatever agricultural land a farmer has, its registry should be in the name of the farmer.If not, obtain this certificate from the Revenue Department and submit it. Farmers will be provided with the subsidy upon applying in this manner.
Documents required for agricultural equipment subsidy
The government will provide subsidies to farmers for purchasing agricultural equipment. You will need to apply online. By applying, you can benefit from this scheme. Now, the question is what are the necessary documents required for this.
For this, you need a recent copy of your land records, no older than six months. You also need the farmer’s Jan Aadhaar card. This card will provide the subsidy if the farmer is a small or marginal farmer.
How much subsidy will be available on agricultural equipment
After farmers apply, the subsidy will be disbursed directly to their Aadhaar-linked account. Subsidies will be provided for the purchase of agricultural equipment. Farmers can receive subsidies on approved agricultural equipment up to a certain limit, as per Government of India guidelines.
Under this scheme , Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, small , marginal, and women farmers will receive a 50 percent subsidy on the total cost of agricultural machinery. Other categories of farmers will receive a subsidy of up to 40 percent of the total cost of agricultural equipment.
Farmers must purchase agricultural equipment from a registered manufacturer or dealer.
You should be aware that after applying for this scheme, you will be granted administrative approval. If you receive administrative approval, you can purchase the machine from registered vendors in any district of the state listed on the Raj Kisan Saathi portal or the Raj Kisan Suvidha mobile app.
After this, you will be provided with a 50% or 40% subsidy on the total cost of the agricultural machinery (the cost of the machinery/equipment plus all applicable taxes/GST). Furthermore, if you purchase the agricultural machinery before administrative approval is obtained, you will not be eligible for the subsidy.
Application process for getting agricultural equipment on subsidy
You must apply online. You cannot apply offline. You can also enlist the help of an e – friend or apply yourself on the Kisan Saathi portal.
- You will need to fill out the application form and upload the required documents. Select the name of the agricultural equipment you wish to purchase and its BHP category on the portal. Applicants will receive an online receipt for their application and an SMS to their Aadhaar-registered mobile number.
- You must enter the minimum key on the Raj Kisan Saathi portal within 15 days of completing your application. Otherwise, your application will be cancelled after 15 days.
- After submitting your application, you can also check your status. You can check your application status using the Raj Kisan Sathi portal or the Raj Kisan Suvidha mobile app. Offline applications will not be accepted.
