Pashupatinath Temple is the most revered Hindu temple that is located in Kathmandu, the city capital of Nepal, India. It is a very famous temple that is dedicated to the Lord Shiva. The temple attracts thousands of people across India and Nepal and it is a very famous spiritual pilgrimage site in Nepal. The temple has a very history that is the temple is constructed in the 5th century AD and the people believe that it was constructed by the king King Prachanda Dev in the 3rd century BCE. The main aspect of the Pashupatinath Temple lord Shiva is called as lord of the animals which means Lord Shiva is the protector of all living beings including animals.

The temple is situated on the banks of the Bhagmati River and the people take a holy dip to purify their soul in the river, the devotees visit it often and seek blessings from the Lord Shiva. Another famous pooja in the temple is Abhishek is very famous in that the devotees offer milk water and sacred items to the Lord Shiva idol. The major festival celebrated in the temple like Mahashivratri. In this festival, the devotees visit this temple in a huge crowd to seek blessings from the Lord Shiva.
