Chettikulangara Temple is a very famous and revered Hindu temple that is located in Chettikulangara, Mavelikkara, Alappuzha district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to the Bhagavathy called as Goddess Sri Bhadrakali which means it is a powerful form of goddess Durga Devi and the temple is managed under the administration of the Travancore Devaswom Board. The people believe that the goddess Bhadrakali has three different forms that are Saraswati in morning and Lakshmi in the afternoon and Durga in the evening.
The temple has a very rich history that the people believe that the temple is over 1200 years old and it is the most powerful idol of Goddess Bhadrakali. Thousands of devotees visit this temple every year but especially during the festival times a huge crowd of devotees visit this temple, especially in February and March the crowd of devotees is very huge.
