This scheme has been started by the Delhi government. Through this scheme, the disabled citizens living within the state have to face many difficulties in their daily routine. To eliminate them, many types of convenient equipment will be provided to the disabled citizens under this scheme.
To run this scheme successfully within the state, an agreement has been signed between the Delhi Government and ALIMCO for 5 years. Through this scheme, many types of equipment will be provided to the eligible disabled citizens such as wheelchair, BTE hearing aid, crutches axilla adjustable, Braille cane, MSIED kit, Braille kit, smartphone for visually impaired, smart cane, prosthetic limbs, tricycle, motorized tricycle, ADL kit for leprosy patients and many other types of equipment will be provided to the beneficiaries.

Accessible Assistance Scheme Budget
To run this scheme successfully in the state, a budget of Rs 10 crore has been set by the Delhi government under this scheme, which will be increased with time. Eligibility for Sugamya Sahayak Yojana
- To apply under this scheme, it is mandatory to be a resident of Delhi.
- Under this scheme, disabled persons with disability of 40% or more will be eligible for this scheme.
- To avail the benefits under this scheme, the family income of the applicant should not be Rs. 8 lakh or more.
- Under this scheme, the beneficiary should not have received any benefit or equipment similar to this scheme from any other government scheme in the last three years.
