TTD Sahasra Deepalankarana The Kateswara Swamy Temple hosts a daily ritual where 1008 lamps are lit at sunset to honour Lord Balaji. This ritual aims to dispel darkness from human souls and guide them towards devotion. The temple priests conduct this special ceremony, bringing Lord Malayappa and his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi in a procession to the decorated Sahasra Deepalankarana mandapam.

Devotees with tickets are seated in front of the divine cradle, where special devotional songs are sung live. After the seva, each devotee receives two laddus and can have darshan through the Supadham Gate, which is close to the temple.   2. Tickets are sold at the CRO office until 4:00 PM each day, subject to availability.
  3. Alternatively, devotees can also visit TTD Kalyanamandapams, where tickets can be booked up to two months in advance. Check the availability and book tickets at the nearest Kalyanamandapam counter.
