The Lepakshi Temple is situated in Anantapur District in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Daley Pakshi Temple is the most revered and spiritual place that is dedicated to the Veerabhadra Swamy . The temple’s locations and surroundings are wonderful because its architecture and craftsmanship tell about the ancient Indian culture. The Lepakshi Temple was constructed in the 16th century by the Virupanna and Viranna, who served as governors under the Vijayanagar Empire. The Temple has very rich history which means it has a very strong connection to the Ramayana that means in this Lepakshi a bird jatayu it is a mythical bird fall down and being injured by Ravana in chasing of Seetha Devi. The Lepakshi name came for these place from the story of Ramayana Lord Rama sees the fall-down mythical bird and says “Le pakshi” which means get up bird since this place is named Lepakshi.
